There's a credit card surcharge to cover the extra costs of processing a credit card booking. Be aware that your credit card company may charge you additional fees – get in touch with them directly to find out more.

Payment surcharge

Depending on your preferred method of payment, a surcharge may apply.

  • Norwegian VISA card or a personal debit card: A payment surcharge will not apply.
  • Personal VISA or MasterCard credit card issued in the EU: A payment surcharge will not be charged.
  • Personal AMEX issued in the UK: A payment surcharge will not be charged.
  • Corporate debit/credit card: A payment surcharge (3% of the total purchase price) will be charged.

If you pay with a personal VISA or MasterCard credit card issued outside the EU, or an AMEX or Diners card issued outside the UK, a payment surcharge of 1,99% of the total purchase price will apply.

Pay with CashPoints

If you're a member of our frequent flyer programme Norwegian Reward, you'll earn CashPoints every time you fly with us, book a hotel or rental car through our partners. You can use your CashPoints to pay for your flight tickets (excluding taxes and some surcharges).

Paying in Your Preferred Currency

We offer the option to pay for your booking in your local currency on our website. Here is a simple guide to how it works:

  • • The exchange rate you see at the time of purchase is fixed. We use daily rates from independent sources to ensure you get a fair price.

    • Your payment receipt will clearly show the transaction details and the final amount in the currency you chose to pay with.

    • If you need a refund, it will be processed in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original purchase. The amount will be credited back to your original form of payment. Please note that the currency conversion service fee is non-refundable.

        ◦ We reserve the right to change these terms and to take appropriate action in cases of suspected fraud.

Other payment options

Depending on availability in different markets/currency, you can also pay with Klarna, Trustly, Vipps and Swish without a fee.
